Seven Peak Water Park

Aspen was so excited to go swimming, but you would never know it from the look on her face!


Still a little unsure

We bought season passes to seven peaks this summer and it has been a blast! Simon plays hard in the water that he only lasts 2 hours, but he is becoming a good swimmer. He loves to go down the slides by himself. He will plunge deep into the water and jump back up all by himself yelling MORE! The wave pool is his other favorite adventure. He will take the waves head on! HE is definitely my son! We are teaching him how to swim. He can hold his breath under water for 5 seconds. I love the escape from work and home. Being out in the warm sun and feeling the nice water. Go Summer!

Playdate

Meet Aspen Parkhurst. Only one month older than Simon and living right next door she has become Simons favorite playdate. We love to steal her to come over and play all the time and they have a blast together! Bringing out the best in eachother and sometimes the worst. Learning how to share with one another and how to be unselfish with there toys these two for the most part have become masters. But there are those times espectially if they are tired or hungry and we have the privilege to witness a screaming war. Usually Aspen is the one that gets hurt and loses the battle, but sometimes because of her death grip on a toy, Simon throws in the towel. Luckily they have learned well to apologize and then all is okay and they go along playing.

My heart melts when they get there little chairs and sit together just to hang out. This is almost an every day event.

Summer has been busy. Lots of work and play. We are going to California next week to go to Disneyland and the beach. Look forward to sharing those moments!
